On Friday, September 9th I will debut a new collection, Deal With It, in a solo exhibition at Lost Dog Gallery.

This collection will explore the habitual strategies we use to regulate the big, difficult emotions we encounter in life. Paintings will be presented in pairs—one depicting a common but potentially unhelpful/unsustainable coping mechanism, and the other exploring a healthier way to emotionally regulate.

My goal is to create a space for reflection—how might you be avoiding, repressing, or denying how you feel? What might it be like to gently and courageously receive and understand those feelings instead?
